MIPS 2008 Post Show Information
MIPS 2008, the 14th Moscow International Protection, Security & Fire Safety Exhibition, took place on 14-17 April 2008 at Expocentr, Moscow, Russia. It is the largest specialised safety and security forum in Russia.
The exhibition grew by 27% to 8,280 sqm (net) in comparison to MIPS 2007. Over 325 companies from 22 countries participated in the exhibition, including leading producers of security equipment from Russia and abroad who demonstrated the latest technology and achievements in all sectors of the security market. The event also featured national pavilions from UK, Italy, China, Taiwan, Korea and Finland. Participants included HID Global, Abloy OY, Apollo, CBC Deutchland, Dedicated Micros, Fujinon Europe, Geoquip, Panasonic, Pentax Europe, Sanyo Corp, SATEL, Schrack Seconet AG, TYCO BSP and others. According to the official statistical data audit, visitor numbers increased by 15%
